Kalamazoo, MI – May 30, 2022 Aldevra is expanding its foodservice equipment and installation capabilities to better serve its customers. The company recently acquired a bid-build division from a foodservice equipment designer. The office is based in Maryland and will be led by Aldevra’s new regional vice president Charles Whittaker.
“Our government customers have asked us to provide additional foodservice equipment manufacturers and manage complicated projects,” says Rodney Marshall, Aldevra president & CEO. “We’ve worked with Charlie and his team for years, and our customers are thrilled to see him as a full-time addition to the company. Now we have more experience and knowledge on our own staff to perform bigger, complex foodservice equipment, installation and construction projects. In addition, the Maryland team brings connections to commercial accounts who are very excited to have a diverse partner with the depth and breadth that we provide. We will become a preeminent foodservice equipment dealer for federal, institutional and commercial accounts.”
Whittaker has been a leader in the construction and foodservice equipment industry for almost 30 years. He is also a certified electrical journeyman and universally certified heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) technician with a HVAC contractor license. He and his team are rapidly adding manufacturer programs, bringing on new clients, and expanding Aldevra’s capabilities nationally.
