Kalamazoo, MI — December 3, 2025 — Aldevra is proud to announce it is one of the first awardees under the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. With a ceiling of $151 billion, SHIELD is one of the most significant, long-term defense acquisition vehicles supporting the protection of the United States from emerging and advanced threats.
The SHIELD IDIQ establishes broad work areas enabling MDA and participating agencies to rapidly acquire cutting-edge solutions across the full lifecycle of development, testing, production, and sustainment for missile defense and related mission sets.
