The Problem

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District already had a massive mission.
More than 1,200 civil works projects across the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.
Dams. Powerplants. Critical infrastructure that entire communities depend on.

But the complexity was growing.
Schedules were tight.
Standards were uncompromising.

They didn’t need basic construction support.
They needed senior-level professionals who could step onto active sites and perform immediately.

Our Solution

We started by listening.

We aligned on inspection protocols, safety requirements, compliance standards, and communication flow. Then we built a staffing plan around three non-negotiables: experience, reliability, and responsiveness.

We deployed Senior Construction Representatives and QA Inspectors to Center Hill, Wolf Creek, and Barkley Dam.
Not junior staff learning on the job.
Experienced specialists with backgrounds in turbine rehabilitation, heavy civil construction, and federal QA/QC oversight.

From day one, they integrated seamlessly.
Inspections stayed on track.
Safety stayed tight.
Communication improved.

Behind the scenes, our Operations Manager, Zoe Dieleman, stayed closely connected with the District coordinating task orders, responding quickly to time-sensitive needs, and ensuring nothing slowed down.

The Happy Ending

The results were clear:

  • Zero safety incidents.
  • Zero missed deliverables.
  • Every assignment completed on schedule.
  • Stronger coordination between field teams and contracting officials.

USACE leadership recognized the impact of having senior-level professionals who took ownership of the mission and performed like an extension of their internal team.

When federal infrastructure is on the line, reliable oversight isn’t optional.
That’s exactly what we delivered.
